Using a critical lens, I investigate the impact of technology on power structures and relational dimensions. I'm interested in exploring the impact of emerging technology on social dynamics and how the design of things mediate as well as co-produce people's actions and perception of reality.
My current research investigates privacy, trust, and ethic issues while encountering emerging artificially intelligent technologies. My work has directly informed grants from both the National Science Foundation US and Switzerland.
I apply a craft-based interdisciplinary research approach that combines methods and theories from design, philosophy, social sciences, and humanities.
